Nativity Scenes

Click on the image please, in order to see the content of this item. Okay So I haven't  blogged on Thanksgiving yet or anything around that time, but when I was out shopping on Black Friday I found this Nativity Scene.  I love it.  I always like to have one out all of Christmas season so that my kids can play with it.  I love this one and my kids love it too.  I found ours at Target for 17.99 and I am so glad that I got it.

Disneyland at Halloween Time

The week of Halloween the kids were out of school for a few days so Lynnae and I decided to take them to Disneyland.  We had so much fun.  Alexis and Eli were so excited to go with them. It was a lot of fun to see all the decorations and all the fun Fall things all around the park.  There was this huge candy corn and that is Eli's favorite so we had to take a few pictures with them.  So cute.  Ethan and Taelor were a ball to be and fun to see what they really enjoyed.  I loved spending the day with Lynnae and just laughing with her and having fun with our kids.

Tanaka Farms

I love going to Tanaka Farms in Irvine.  In the fall they have a huge pumpkin patch with a hay ride, a petting zoo, and a corn maze.  It is a lot of fun to go.  Well this month I took the kids and holy moly it was such a hot day.  My car said that it was 96 degrees out.  CRAZY!!!  Well we still enjoyed the fun day at the farm.  We went with Ryan and Jo and the boys and it was so much fun.  The kids picked put their pumpkins.   They found the perfect one.  So cute!!!

Yada

I know what some of you are thinking  Yada what is that?  Well  it is a word that I learned at our women's retreat two weeks ago.  So what does it mean??  It means spending time alone with God.  Intimate time with him.  Sitting at his feet and listening to him speak to your heart.  During this time you can also journal and you can write special notes to those that have been put on your heart.  It can also be a time when you lift prayers up to God.  It just is such a special time that is set aside for you and God.  For me I love to Yada when everyone is in bed or when the babies are taking their naps.  During this time I light the candles, and sit and pray.  It is such a personal and private time and afterward let me tell you how refreshed I feel.  I am so thankful that I get to have this time with him.  May you have a blessed rest of the week and remember to take time to spend with God lifting up those prayers and sitting quietly.  How often do we as mothers just sit in the quietness of the night?  I challenge you today to try.  It will be amazing.

Reading with the kids

Jimmy and I love to read to the kids. Jimmy reads with Alexis and I read with Eli.  It is a great way to either begin our night while dinner is cooking or we end our night with reading and it settles the kids down.  It just depends on what is going on in the night.  I love the time, each one of us has with the kids.  It is so sweet and priceless.
