My Soccer Girl

WOW!!! On Saturday Alexis had a Soccer game and she was on fire.  She was the team captain for this game and she was so excited.  She played so well.  2nd quarter she was the goalie and she loves to be the goalie.  She did a really good job and I was so proud of her.  She plays hard and this year has been much more aggressive then she has been before. I have really enjoyed watching her play.  She is understanding soccer better and she fully enjoys it.  This year she is Pink and so her team name is the Pink Panthers.  Finally a pink Uniform.  She was very excited about this.  So we are in this season until November and we are having such a great time.  I don't have pictures of Eli yet.  He was sick Thursday and Friday and so we wanted him to rest on Saturday.  SO those will soon be up.

In my house it is fall

Okay so I know that we are in a heat wave, and I dislike it very much, but that didn't stop me from putting some fall things out.  I started to the other day and I thought that I would put more out in October.  I  am just  so excited for the fall to be here.  This season is my favorite and I love it so much.  I love the smells, the look and it makes me want to bake all day.  To me fall can be a good cup of tea with a friend and a some pumpkin bread and great conversation.  It is also can be yummy candles lit, and good music playing and a great book to read.  I also think it could be a great time to open your house up to people and share some yummy food and life with others.

The Williams are sick!!!

Digital Thermometer
So last week Alexis woke up with a high fever and her head was hurting her.  She  ended up sick for  four days.  Poor thing.  I felt so bad for her because there was nothing that I could do for her.  It was viral and we just had to wait it out.  So now it is a new week and Alexis was well for two days and then it happened.  Last night at 1:30 in the morning Eli came to me crying that his head hurt.  Well he was burning up with a 103.4 fever.  AAAHHHH not again!!  So here are home again with a sicky and trying to figure out what to do.  I am just praying that this won't last as long as Alexis'  We have a lot to do this weekend and Mommy doesn't want to be stuck in the house again.  Please pray for my little guy to get better.

Alexis' 8th Birthday

So Alexis turned 8 on September 9th.  It was such a fun day for her.  She took special treats to her class, and she got flowers delivered to her from her Auntie, and then she spent the afternoon at Disneyland.  She was so thankful for the great day she had.  As I was thinking about this little blessing and all that I felt on the day she was born and how thankful we were that she was finally here.  She has been such a joy to have and her little spirit is so beautiful.  Her heart is one that loves Jesus so much and loves others unconditonally.  I often say she is so much like her Daddy and she truely is.  From the day she came from the hospital she has been this mellow little girl that just enjoys life.  She is 8 now and these are the things she loves.
* Her Daddy
* Surfing
*Riding roller coaster
*reading
*Jesus
*her friends
*Art
*Writing Stories
* Her dollies

Dear God Thank you for this little girl and I pray a blessing over her life and that she will grow more in love with you and that her light will shine where ever she goes.  Amen.

On her birthday she got to pick out what American girl doll she wanted and she had so much fun looking on the computer for them.

The Beach and Surfing

Well on Labor day we headed down to Old Mans so that Alexis could get one more surf day in before school started.  It was so fun!!!  She has a friend Kylie that goes with us and she just loves having another girl out there with her.  I love seeing Alexis out there with her daddy.  What a great memory they are making.  This is the summer that she will remember learning how to surf with her Dad.  Jimmy said that he will get Alexis a Full suit so that they can go in the winter and she is really looking forward to that.  It was such a fun summer to spend many days at the beach.  Now Eli on the other hand loves to play in the water and dig in the sand.  He just loves being out in the fresh air.

Alexis' 8th Birthday Dinner

Well this year we started to celebrate Alexis' birthday early.  We started with a fun dinner on Monday night at Joe's crab shack.  This is one of Alexis' favorite places to to eat.  She loves crab.   So off to Newport Beach we went and Alexis and Jimmy enjoyed seafood while Eli and myself had something else.  She had a great  night and it was so fun too!!!  She worked extra hard to get to the meat of the crab, but she had fun getting to it.  So that started the Fun week of celebrating this amazing little girl of ours.  Alexis Noelle!!!

First day of School

So the summer is over and the first day of school was here.  This is a big year for me (mom) because both kids are in full time.  8:15-2:35.  Crazy!!!  I thought this day would never come.  As a young mom I thought I would have a screaming kid on hip forever.  But all that has passed and my baby is a full time student.  They both are doing well and loving their teachers.  Eli was excited to be a first grader and play on the big kid playground and his new thing this past week was buying lunch.  He is loving first grade.  Alexis loves school she always has.  She has a great group of girls that are her friends and she really has enjoyed her teacher.  It was so fun to see them both just go right into their classroom and feel so comfortable.  I love that they have that independent spirit about them.  Well we have been in school now for two weeks and it has been a lot of fun.  Alexis already has her firs report due and we love those.  Eli has come home with a little bit of homework to work on his fine motor skills.  I am just so thankful for such a great school and the teachers that we have.
